Our mission is to establish & strengthen disaster preparedness capacity for individuals and communities by providing information on local disaster risks and resources, and offering interactive planning tools such as disaster prep “quizzes” and the “Build-A-Kit” platform to help users create & maintain preparedness plans tailored to the needs of each unique household.
We are currently in “Phase I” of our organizational launch – striving to serve residents of the U.S. Southeast and Gulf Coast regions. It is our hope to expand disaster.guide’s geographic coverage to include additional U.S. locations as we progress through “Phase II” (Aug.-Nov. 2021).
